Question
my son is 7 turning 8 in april he is a good hitter and fielder but he has no pop on his throws or distance he has major trouble just getting it from 2nd  to 1st. ive bought some weighted balls and he seems to throw alot harder and futher any help will be nice. also he is about 4-4 ??  and  60 pounds he is using a demarini 29 inch  19oz bat and is hitting the ball to left  and center in the air is this the right combo for him. and he bats righthanded

Answer
I think weighted balls for him is not a good idea.He just needs to get on a throwing program. He needs to throw three times a week for a least 20 minutes. And have him long toss. After a year you will see a big difference.Let things happen naturally. Dont force it, he has a long time to go.
