Question
My coach to me to go and buy a specialized bat used for hitting popflies into the outfield but he didn't tell me the name of it.  What is the name of the specialized bat used for hitting outfield flies?

This special bat is called a fungo.  They are made to hit groundballs and fly balls easier than hitting with a regular bat.  Just make sure you don't hit live pitching with them, they are long and skinny and will break.

Experience

I have played through college, and semi pro baseball. For the past 10 years I have been coaching and providing instruction for all age and ability levels. Numerous clients of mine have gone on to play in college and some are playing in the minor leagues. I have provided coaching and instruction for high schools, training facilities, and the Nokona Baseball Factory.
