Question
if there are runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. a ball is hit to the infield. throws the runner progressing to third out. but the runner that was on 3rd scores before the tag at 3rd. does the run count?

If a runner is out due to a force play (as with at runner from 2nd being forced to advance due to a base hit), the out stands, and the run is not scored.

If the force is removed (runner on 1st & 3rd, runner on 1st rounds second and gets tagged between 2nd & 3rd), then it becomes a timing play, and the umpires will have to determine whether the run scored before the out.
