Question
A batter hits a ball foul as it rolls the ball then rolls fair and comes to a rest in fair territory before it can passes third base. Is this ball fair or foul

We judge the ball as where it is when first touched or when it comes to rest when determining fair/foul before it reaches first and third. It can roll foul, and then roll fair at the last minute and be touched, and be judged a fair ball.
