Question
i am a very stalky player, about 5'8 and all butt and thighs. i just completed my first college season at a jc and have always thought i had a compact swing. i am playing in a wood bat summer league and cant seem to get good wood on anything. i feel like i am jamming myself even when the ball is down the pipe. but in the cages and in practice i can swing wood all day.

i don't really know what my question is, but any theories or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Since I never seen your swing(I can now do this thru my website) I would say that maybe in a game you dont trust your hands and try to use your lower body more. This may cause you to cast the hands out and jam your self.Try to video yourself and if you send me your email address you can down load it onto my website and I can see it.
