Question
Runner on lst and the batter hits the ball sharply up the middle. The center fielder throws the runner out at second. Is this a fielders choice?

Thanks,

Answer
Hey Mike,

This was an easy one...

Yes Mike, it is a fielder's choice.. Too bad, uh..

When I was a manager of the younger group of kids, I didn't have the heart to take away those hits.. So in my personal team book, I would refer to it as a hit..

Dennis
