Baseball Instruction - little league baseball

Expert: Martin Hoover - 7/21/2008

Question
In a little league baseball game called after the first inning because of rain and rescheduled for a later date, is the game continued from the top of the 2nd or do you start a new complete game?

Answer
Vince,

The only way a Little League game can be replayed from the start is if there was less than one inning played.  If you had completed the first inning, then you should have picked up at the moment of suspension (in this case, the top of the 2nd).

I hope this has answered your question.  Should you have anymore, please don't hesitate to ask!

-Martin Hoover
