Baseball Instruction - pop ups

Expert: Dennis Girardi - 8/9/2008

Question
hi dennis, i have a problem with catching pop ups. I can never find where he ball is going to land. What should i do?

Answer
Hey John,
Just have someone keep hitting you pop-ups.
You can also get a mitt, a whiffed ball, and a tennis ball, and practice hitting the ball straight in the air with the racquet. Throw the racquet aside and catch the ball. Then have someone else do this to you from a distance.  You will get better.
Good Luck,
Dennis
