Question
Is it ok to stretch before you play long toss or before youre about to pitch in a game if not when is the best time to stretch?

Answer
Yes, you always want to do some stretching before you throw the ball whether for long toss or before a game.  This will help loosen up your muscles and allow you to be at your peak physical performance.  In addition, it is also a good idea to stretch after your throwing and games.  This will help reduce the risk of lactic acid buildup and allow you to recover from muscle fatigue faster.
