Baseball Instruction/pitch count when a player competes in a league and in weekend travel ball

Question
Little League Baseball of course employs pitch counts with all age groups. an 11-12 yr old can throw a maximum of 85 pitches in a game. My question is what about a kids weekend travel ball play? There is no way to know for sure how much they pitch, but does little league require the days rest after a kid pitches on a saturday/sunday ? and how would we know how much the kid pitched ? Common sense says to watch out for you're kid and not let them overpitch, but some parents are guilty of what I consider letting kids pitch too much. anyway I tried to find the answer to this in the Official Little League Rulebook, but could not find it.     sk

Answer
I cannot speak for this particular weekend league, but most have a supplemental set of rules that they use in addition to the ruleset they are using.

My suggestion would be to ask either the coach of the travel team or get a contact number of the board of the league and ask them.
