Question
My 13yo son likes to catch, short-stop, center field and pitch.  He love the game of baseball and when playing wants to give the best of him.  He gets really dissapointed when he sees his team-mate not taking things serious.  Whatever position you put him in, he'll give you 100%.  My questions is at his age is it good for him to rotate positions?.  Also when he sees the pitcher not doing good, always ask the coach to put him in and he does pretty good.  But I do not want him to injured his arm.  What do you recommend?

Answer
I think it is important to give it your best wherever the coach puts you but it is even more important to learn the skill neccassary to play those positions.I think every kid should be able to play 2 positions on a baseball field. One he should be good at and the other he wont hurt you when he plays there. May not be the greatest but wont make mistakes.
