Question
is it a balk in jr little league to be in-contact on the rubber (hands together) raise leg, step to third in you motion without throwing to third base with runner on?
also, can your free leg come past the rubber and then throw home with runners on?

Answer
Hey Mike,

What kind of league are you in that even calls balks at this age? Very surprising to me.. You should be instructing the kids, with little worry about balks. You do not have to throw to third.
A free leg cannot come past the rubber.
