Hello,

My son is playing Little League in the Minor Leagues as a 8 year old.  Tonight the question was brought up about where the coach should stand when he is pitching.  Our coach varies where he stand depending on the ability of the child.  The other team felt that our coach was standing too close.  The rule book was pulled out and it could not be found in the book.  There is no local rule either.

Is there a distance quoted for coach pitched minor league?

If there is no local league rule stating where the coach must stand, then if become the option of the coach (or umpire if there is one).  I would recommend that you check with a league representative and make sure that everyone in the division is on the same page.
