Baseball Instruction/Wooden Bat

Question
I have always used an aluminum bat. I just bought a wooden bat (Mizuno
MZM271) yesterday. It seems like it is curved a little bit to the side that has the
label. Is this normal or is it possible for it to be warped?

Answer
Hi Tom,

This is difficult to say without having a look at the bat.  I always advocate choosing bats you like the feel of in your hands.  It sounds like this curvature is bothering you regardless of whether it is an error or not.  For this reason, I would recommend you get another bat that you feel more comfortable with.  I would suggest going to the nearest sporting goods store in your area and actually trying out a few different wooden bats to see which one you like.  This should also give you an idea of whether there is in fact an issue with your Mizuno bat.
