Question
I have a player who doesnt think he can throw the ball during the game, he has a sore arm.  He offers to be my Extra Hitter, can he play the game just as Extra Hitter or must he field the game?

Answer
David:

I am not familiar with the term extra hitter.

If you are referring to a designated hitter, the answer is your player could just bat, each time his spot in the line up comes up.  You have the ability to put the DH in the game at some point, if you want; but do not have to.

All other positions in the lineup require playing in the field.

Good luck with your season!
