Baseball Instruction/Baseball Bat

Question
Hi,

I am 12 years old and I play baseball. I am pretty good and was in the top 5 of my baseball team last year. I play in the Babe Ruth Leagues. My only problem is that I don't have a good bat. I always use the other kids' bats and if I am ever practicing on my own (which I will do a lot in the summer), I have to use my bat. It is 29 inches and I think 18 ounces. It is a Louisville slugger bat. It is really just one of those 30 or 40 dollar bats you see in sporting goods stores.I need a good and new one for next year when I'm playing with 12 and 13 year olds. I've checked out a couple bats and the only problem is the price. I want something between a 100 ad 150 dollar price. I would also prefer a composite bat or stealth. I am willing to buy a 250 dollar bat but only if it is really worth it. Please let me know what bat is best for me

Answer
Hey Seb,
Start by seeing which bat that you have been using, feels the best..
As you use a teammates bat that feels good, get the measurements and then find a store that sells bats, and swing a few times... What feels good to you is the best way to tell.
Don't get something too heavy. Bring someone with you who you knows baseball.
Good Luck
Dennis
