Baseball Instruction - throwing a knuckle ball

Expert: John Priest - 9/2/2009

Question
hello i am trying to master the art of the knuckle, because i can only throw about 75 mph in high school. i have been on a couple sites and have learned what i think to be the right grip and motion to throw the pitch. the problem is i cant seem to get it not to spin and i have little to no movement on the ball. do you have any instructions/ tips to helping throw a correct knuckle ball?

Answer
Mike,
Sorry I am not in any way an expert on the knuckle ball.  I can throw one but I think its because of trying it so many times, and when I do throw it its not always good.  I don't want to give you any bad info so check out these two web sites:
