Question
My son is 8 years old and has played one season of fallball kid pitch. He has been hit several times in the batters box and is now very nervous when he has to practice hitting. He has a tryout for travel in 2 weeks and loves the game. His fear has almost gotten him to the point of wanting to quit.He is a twin and it would kill him to see his brother and friends go on to play while his fears get the best of him. Please help!I'm a mom of 4 and this kills me.

Answer
Buy him all the protective equipment he can get. They have the under armor with the rib and back protection. They have the elbow gaurd. This equipment may help him to feel more confident. Also someone may need to teach him how to get out of the way of a pitched ball correctly.
