Baseball Instruction/baseball rotation

Question
I have 13 players on my 9-10 year old baseball team.  I need to rotate these players so they have equal playing time.  Batting order is priority.  I have 3 players that need special attention. Where should I use them in the rotation. They should not play together.  We have a 14 game schedule.  Please help!!  I need this as soon as possible.

Answer
Hey Dennis,

At this age, here's what I suggest..  The fastest one should bat last. This is so not to slow down the top of your order, if he gets on base.  Your better bunter, should bat before a couple of good hitters, but no higher in the order than 6th..  The one that doesn't swing, well, put him the same as the bunter..
If you are not playing them at the same time, it should, not be too bad.. Do they have to play every game? I don't know your house rules...

1st = dependable singles hitter, with some speed
2nd = makes contact, can also bunt
3rd = Your best all around hitter, faster than 4th hitter
4th = good hitter, power is good but ok if not.
5th = heavier of the 3,4,5 hitters, but good hitter..speed not as important
6th = weak
7th = hits occasionally
8th = weak
9th =  weakest hitter, but has some speed

I hope this helps a little.
