Question
If they're runners on 1st and 2nd, ball hit to shortstop,runner interferes with shortstop...immediate dead ball right?runner going from 2nd to 3rd is out. runner going from 1st to 2nd is on 2nd, and batter gets first?
---if it's not an immediate dead ball...can the shortstop throw to first and get the runner out or is the batter-runner automatically awarded first base?
---if there was a runner on 3rd and he scored would he have to go back to third?

If the umpire feels the runner interfered with the fielder (such as running into them) then the play ends immediately.
The runner is out, and all other runners advance one base if forced. Runner at 3rd would go back to 3rd.
