Question
My son is 11 and is having a tough year. The coach keeps benching him more than other players. The last game he sat 3 out of 5 innings. Is there any rule or guidance on sitting a player?

Thank you

Answer
Joe:  Joe:  Thank you for your question.

Generally speaking, league rules for amount of time played, or not played vary league to league.

If there is a policy, the best person to contact would be the League President for the current league your son is playing in.  That individual should have all the particulars on that league.
