Question
my son pitches overhand and sidearm what would be a good pitch for sidearm other then a fastball, he has movement on it and he is very consistent. he is 12yrs. old.

Answer
Hey Steve,

At 12 years old, you need to be careful when twisting and turning his pitches.  You don't want to cause any arm trouble.. Throw change-ups and fastballs till he gets about 15 or 16 years old. Then you can throw the occasional curve.. If he stays on the outter half of the plate, you would be surprised how effective he can be, with just those 2 pitches.
He should concentrate on throwing to spots. Up, down, in, and out..
Good Luck.
