Question
I need some help with Mandatory play rule in district tournament. This question is in regards to 9-10(minors) division.
Home team enters bottom of 4th winning by a score of 6-0. All players have gotten to play except two (2). In this said inning the two remaining players get their at bat and proceed to win the game by the 10 run rule, however they did not get a chance to field their respective 3 outs. Is there a violation of said rule? Are players required to start the following game? As I understand, rule does not apply if it is a shortened game due to weather, 10 run rule, curfew, etc...
I would really appreciate if you could answer this question as soon as you can.
Thank you.

Answer
Hey Luis,

In my league if the game was shortened by slaughter rule, then the player would have to start the next game, but this is a house rule.. Call up the commissioner on this one.. I'm sure something will be done.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
