Baseball Instruction/hitting

Question
Hi, I have an eleven yr old who is 5'5" and 145lbs. He bats and throws left. He is reaching out to hit the ball and losing all his power. How can I help him make this adjustment and where do you teach lessons? Thanks for your reply.

Answer
You can have him to load then count to 2 and then swing. This will give him the feeling of waiting. Also you can have him hit a soccer ball. It is heavier and will help him see that he needs all his weight going into the ball. I do lessons off of 59 south and Chimney Rock.
