Baseball Instruction/thrown bat striking catcher

Question
Game was in a V.F.W. league, 13-15 year old played under Major League rules. Batter after hitting ball tosses bat and hits catcher in the side. After batter reached first time was called and he was warned about throwing the bat.Next time up he hits ball and throws bat again striking same catcher in the ankle
Question is does this batter get ejected from game ? I could not find a definitive ruling on this is there a rule number I should be looking for.

Answer
There are no Major League rules on this subject, unless the local league has a rule then it's not covered & therefore is no penalty.

But if I were the coach or the parent, the kid would sit until he learned how to release a bat, sheesh we are not talking about 5-8 year olds anymore.
