Question
If a player has a 2 ball 2 strike count and is injured and the replacement hitter makes an out who is credited with the time at bat? A the original batter or B the replacement

The substitute batter will be credited with the result of the at bat, unless he strikes out.  If he strikes out, then the first batter will receive credit for the at bat.

The clause in the rules is "When the batter leaves the game with two strikes against him, and the substitute batter completes a strikeout, charge the strikeout and the time at bat to the first batter. If the substitute batter completes the turn at bat in any other manner, including a base on balls, score the action as having been that of the substitute batter."

If the substitute comes in with one strike or none, then they get credit for the at bat, no matter what happens.
