Baseball Instruction/Scoring the batter when 3rd out is runner caught stealing

Question
This might seem obvious to most, but I can't find it in the rulebook. Two outs, count is 1-1 on the batter, and the runner on first is caught stealing second for the third out.  What happens to the batter next inning?  If his plate appearance is over, how is that scored?  Thanks!

Answer
Buzz,

The Little League rule is 6.01(b) NOTE.  Is states that:

In the event that while a batter is in the batter's box, the third out of an inning is made on a base runner, the batter then at bat shall be the first batter of the next inning and the count of balls and strikes shall start over.

In regards to mandatory play, this would not count as a time at bat because the batter has not been put out, or become a runner, as stated in rule 6.04.

I hope this has helped, just let me know if you have any other questions!
