Baseball Instruction/Tryouts

Question
Well I'm trying out for my freshman team and I am a really good contact hitter and a really good catcher says a lot of people. Should this be good enough to make the team??

Answer
Hey Tanner,

It all depends on how good the team already is... Work on hustle. Don't ever let up cause "It's Only Practice." Stand out from the other freshman.. Get there early and be the last one to leave the field.. Ask the coaches for extra instruction or extra fielding and hitting.. If your sincere, they will notice. Also they will pick you over another player of equal caliber when someone hustles.
Good Luck, Tanner.
