Baseball Instruction/changing a pitcher

Question
Can the starting pitcher get put back in the game after he has already been taken out?

Answer
Owen,

Based on all the rule books of all the leagues I've seen, a player can not go back into a game after they have been taken out.

However, some leagues have their own rules and they may allow reentry.  Often it depends on how many players each team has.

Hope this helps!
