Baseball Instruction/little league rules

Question
In parent pitch ages 6-9, are there any official rules.

Should there be an unpire

Answer
Hey Courtney,

There does not have to be rules, but you will find yourself making some simple ones. 60 feet bases, no lead-offs, no drop third strike... You need to have the nine year olds try to pitch to the batters as the season goes on and get them ready for next year, too.
Someone has to umpire.  Maybe the parent that's pitching.  Or maybe someone behind the parent.
