Question
I will be keeping the books this year for my son's USSSA U8 team. Although I played as a kid and I've been a fan for years I've never learned the books. Will this be difficult to learn and would it be a good idea for me to purchase software such as Turbo Stats and take my laptop to the game?

I have used this website before as a reference to people keeping scorebooks in baseball and softball.

Go with this for now, then develop your own style of scorekeeping. There is no right and wrong for keeping score. However, this is a good starting point.
