Question how can I get a good jump on a left handed pitcher and a right handed pitcher PLEASE HELP ME
Answer Off of a left handed pitcher you can watch his shoulders. Most of the time the left handed pitcher will turn his shoulder towards first base when he is making a throw to first. You can also watch his front foot.If it crosses his back leg then he must go to the plate. The easy think to do is get a one way lead.In this lead you are going on the pitchers first move.Meaning if he lifts his front foot you take off even if he throws to first you should have such a big lead that you make it.On a right handed pitcher you start by watching the front foot.If you see a spike when he raises his foot your gone.If you see movement other than that, meaning the back foot moves then you get back.A good habit to learn is while sitting in the dugout find what the pitcher moves first.Sometimes a pitcher will move his front shoulder in first and that then becomes your key.You must study in the dugout to get the right info.
