Question
a baseball game was held and the final score was 1-0 and yet nobody tagged homeplate...how is this possible?

Answer
Molly,

I'm sorry but I can't answer the question.  I'm not sure of the answer.

It isn't a forfeit - because in baseball a forfeit score is 9-0.

It might be a home run that a player hit, but the player gets injured going around the bases.  In that case, the homerun still counts even if the player can't make it to home.  What I don't know is that if another player must run the bases for him.

Good question - I hope you can find the answer!
