Baseball Trivia (General)/200 hits

Question
Is there any other player or players that had 200 hits in a season for both an american and a national league team? (besides Vlad Guerrero that had 206 for the Expos in 2002 & 206 for the angels in 2004)

Answer
Hi PineTar,

Thanks for writing.

Getting 200 or more hits in each league in a single season is very rare.  Other than Vlad Guerrero the only other player I could find who did this was Al Oliver.  He had 200+ hits for the 1980 NL Expos and the 1982 AL Rangers.

Best Wishes,

Geoff
