Question
I was just wondering has there been a starting pitcher in the MLB that has gone an entire season without a decision?  If not, what is the longest span of time that a pitcher has gone before getting a decision?

Thank you in advance.

Answer
James,

No starter even came close to no decisions in an entire season. The longest any starter has gone with no decision was 9 games started, 54.1 innings. This was achieved by Shawn Chacon of the Houston Astros last season. The streak lasted from April 3 to May 16.

Merry Christmas!
