Question
What player had the most plate appearences for a .300+ hitter without a walk or hit by pitch in a season?

Answer
Damon,

Interesting question. In 1877, a player named Levi Meyerle of the Chicago Cubs hit .327 with 107 plate appearances and neither a walk or being hit by a pitch. In the modern era, since 1900, Don Mueller of the New York Giants  hit .357 in 1948 with 82 plate appearances, no walks, and no HBP.
