Subject: GOLD BRAND baseball bat

Question
I hope you can be of assistance to me in identifying any information about a bat that I recently took possession of made by the following manufacturer:

GOLD BRAND ATHLETIC GOODS MFRS. & DISTR.

the bat also says on the barrel: PROFESSIONAL WILLIAMS STLE

This is referring to Ted Williams.  I can supply you with a scan of the bat if you need it. I do not know anything else about the bat as I have searched the web and library and having no results in finding out anything about the bat.  I would appreciate it very much if you know, to tell me the vintage year(s) of the bat, where it was made, whether or not it is rare or common, in other words
anything you can tell me about the bat manufacturer, or if you would kindly direct me to a source that may have knowledge of this bat.

I greatly appreciate your time and effort in advance for providing me with any information regarding this bat.

Answer
Howdy- I am not a collector, but I may suggest that you try some of the larger sports auction houses- they may be able to help you.  I would first try "Maestro" and "Higgins and Scott".  If they can't help, they might be better able to direct you to someone who can.
