About Patrick Clevenger
Expertise
I know a lot about the rules of the game, most of the players (especially more recently), and I try to memorize the World Series winners, from at least 1970 on.

Experience
Huge fan of the sport.

Education/Credentials
Nothing related to baseball, everything I learned I learned by watching the game, playing the game, and ESPN.

Subject: no shut outs

Question
What national league team was never shut out in an entire season?

Answer
The 2000 Cincinnati Reds were not shut out during the season.

There was another team to perform this feat before, but I am unsure what team it was.

Update:  I looked it up.  The 1894 Boston Beaneaters (who went on to become the Boston Braves, then Milwaukee Braves, and now the Atlanta Braves), were not shut out in their season.
