Question
When was the last time a major league  player stoel home-- not as a part of a
double steal but as a pure stolen base. Who holds the record for stealing
home the most times ///

Answer
Darrell,

Most steals of home, lifetime: Ty Cobb, 54

see: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/recbooks/rb_stbah.shtml

The last steal of home not part of double steal that I can find is by Kenji Johjima of Seattle in the 4th inning vs. Detroit on May 31, 2008. I say the last I can find; there may be one since. In any event, this is a real rare event anymore.
