Sir,

I'm fairly sure I remember a Cleveland pitcher walking the first five Tigers hitters of the game at the old Municipal Stadium in either 1984 or more likely 1985.  Can you find a record of this?  Is it a record for consecutive walks to start a game?

Hi - I do not know the specific answer to your question however you might want to contact SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) - headquartered in Cleveland - www.sabr.org - SABR has numerous sources that would probably be able to answer your question - they do have a chapter in Cleveland that may have access to that information as well.
