Question
Who struck out 6 consective sluggers in an All-Star Game?

Answer
This is a "trick" question - for one pitcher - it was Carl Hubbell - striking out (5) future Hall of Famers in the 1934 All-Star Game - Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Simmons and Cronin.

In the 1984 All-Star Game, Fernando Valenzuela and Doc Gooden COMBINED to strike out (6) sluggers in a row - Winfield, Jackson, Brett by Valenzuela - Parrish, Lemon and Davis by Gooden

Carl Hubbell threw out the first pitch at the 1984 All-Star Game
