has any major league team ever come off with the "hidden ball trick" at first base or any base? if so would like to know the details as to who and when. i know this is off the wall trivia stuff.

Answer
The "hidden ball" trick has been "performed" previously in the major leagues - I do not have the details however I would suggest you contact SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) - www.sabr.org - SABR would probably be able to direct you to someone who has the specific details - I believe there have been research papers written on the subject by SABR members
