Of the current active players in MLB, who has the best chance of collecting at least 4000 hits or possibly surpassing Pete Rose's hitting record?

 I can say without fear of being mistaken that nobody playing ball today has the slightest chance of getting anywhere near Pete Rose's record. 3,000 hits, much less 4,000+, will be a challenge or impossibility for the top ten guys on the list right now. Best chance at 3,000: A-Rod and Jeter, and A-Rod of course is tainted.
