The worst batting average for a Hall of Fame pitcher based on at least 500 plate appearances is Sandy Koufax: .097.

The fewest HR based on the same number of plate appearances are several guys tied with zero: Waite Hoyt, Joe McGinnity, Lefty Gomez, Don Sutton, and Bert Blylevan.
