Question
Who was the last AL pitcher to hit a homerun in a world series game, and regular season game?
Dave McNally of the Orioles hit a home run (a GRAND SLAM, at that!) in the 1970 World Series, and also hit a home run during the regular season that same year.
Ken Holtzman of the Oakland A's is the last AL pitcher to hit a home run in the World Series (1974), but because of the Designated Hitter rule, he didn't bat at all during the regular season that year.
