Question
There is a no hitter that was played on 9/8/93 by pitcher Daryl Kile...the score was Houston 7 New York 1...it does not say New York Mets or New York Yankees...which is it? and how can it be a no hitter if New Yorh got 1...is it by the one being a walk that caused the bases loaded to bring a man in?

Answer
Kile pitched for the Houston Astros of the National League, so the team he no-hit was the New York METS.

I don't know how the Mets scored their run, but Kile gave up 1 walk and Houston made 1 error.  Chances are both the walk and the error occurred in the same inning to lead to the run.

There have been a dozen no-hit games in which the losing team scored a run without getting a hit.
