were the san francisco giants ever in any other city
Oh, yes. They were originally the New York Giants, a team with a long history that dates back to 1883. The Giants were one of three teams in greater New York, the other two were the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Yankees. The NY Giants moved to California after the 1957 season along with the Dodgers, who went to Los Angeles.
