what year was the first pennant baseball bat manufactured?

Hi Jennifer,

In searching for any information about Pennant brand baseball bats I come up with nothing other than a few listings on ebay.  Pennant made various sports equipment but seem to be better known for their baseball gloves.  Those were made as early as 1900.
