Question
Who are the coaches that have not played the game.  I think the managers are:
Jack McKeon:Florida
Dave Miley: Cincinnati
Carlos Tosca: Toronto
Buck Showalter: Texas

Are there any more?
Thanks-Colleen

Answer
Howdy- Carlos Tosca never played pro ball, but...
Bucky Showalter played seven years in the minors in the Yankee system(1977-83) and even led his league in hits two years (1980, 1982).
Jack McKeon was a catcher who spent ten years in the minors, 1949-59 (not including 1951 when he was in the service).
And Dave Miley was a catcher who spent eight years in the Reds system, 1980-87, hitting .236 with 16 homers.

As for the coaches, I am sorry to report that I do not have a list of coaches, although there are probably several who never played professionally.  My advice is to contact SABR (the Society for American Baseball Research) at their site and put the question out through their system.  Again, sorry that I do not have coaches information for you.
