Today the Yankees got 25 hits (in 8 half-innings since they won at home) against the D-Rays from 11 different players. I was curious about 2 things:
1) In the long Yankees history, what is the most amount of hits they've had in a 9-inning game?
2) What is the record for the most players from one team with at least 1 hit in a game? (9-inning and extra inning please)
Can't find these answers anywhere online, so I figured I'd ask an expert.

Answer Howdy.
1). The Yanks got 30 hits against the Red Sox (who else?) on 28 September, 1923.
2). The record is 14, by the Indians vs. the Browns, 12 August, 1948 and by the Giants vs. the Padres, 23 June, 1986.
(Sorry if the answer was late- I generally check my "e-mail" only once a day).
